ALCX (Alchemix)

ALCX is the governance and staking token of Alchemix Finance, a decentralized platform offering interest-free, unliquidated loans. Alchemix Finance introduces an innovative concept of self-paying loans, where the borrower's collateral is invested in other yield farming protocols like Yearn Finance to repay the loan automatically over time. Borrowers receive a synthetic token, alUSD, representing their debt and functioning as a stablecoin or for asset exchanges. They can reclaim their collateral anytime by burning alUSD, as long as the alUSD-to-collateral ratio stays within a specified limit. ALCX holders have voting rights on platform governance proposals and parameters, and can earn rewards by staking their tokens in the Alchemix DAO.
