BNB (Binance Coin)

BNB, created by Binance, the world's leading crypto exchange by trading volume, has evolved significantly since its inception. Initially an ERC-20 token on the Ethereum network, BNB transitioned to Binance's own Binance Chain in 2019. Its uses are multifaceted, including trading and fee payment on Binance and its platforms (Binance DEX, Binance Launchpad, Binance Academy), participating in token sales and crowdfunding on Binance Launchpad, staking and earning rewards on Binance Smart Chain, and supporting the Binance ecosystem's growth. As a deflationary token, BNB's supply diminishes over time, with Binance committing to burning 50% of the total supply (100 million BNB), enhancing its scarcity and value.
