CAKE (PancakeSwap)

CAKE is the cryptocurrency that powers PancakeSwap, a decentralized exchange on the Binance Smart Chain. It allows users to swap tokens, provide liquidity, earn rewards, and engage in other financial activities. As an incentive, liquidity providers and stakers on PancakeSwap can earn fees and rewards through their participation. CAKE also grants its holders voting rights and the opportunity to engage in platform-specific activities like lotteries and prediction markets. Although it is an inflationary token, being minted with each new block, a portion of CAKE is regularly burned to counteract inflation and enhance its value. It is compatible with the BEP20 token standard, offering lower transaction fees and faster processing times than its Ethereum ERC20 counterpart.
