GRT is the cryptocurrency fueling The Graph, a decentralized protocol for creating and accessing open APIs, known as subgraphs, for blockchain data. These subgraphs enable querying data from networks like Ethereum and Filecoin without third-party services. GRT incentivizes network participants, including indexers, curators, and delegators, who develop and maintain these subgraphs. Indexers, who stake GRT, process queries and earn rewards, while curators assess subgraph quality and relevance. Delegators contribute their GRT to indexers to share in rewards and risks. An ERC20 token, GRT operates on the Ethereum blockchain.
