SXP (Swipe)

SXP is a cryptocurrency that fuels the Solar Network, a layer 1 blockchain platform dedicated to providing sustainable, clean energy solutions through blockchain technology. SXP serves multiple purposes: paying transaction fees, staking for network security and rewards, and participating in protocol governance through voting. It is also the main currency for Solar DApps, decentralized applications on the Solar blockchain. Initially an ERC-20 token on Ethereum, SXP migrated to its own blockchain, utilizing a delegated proof-of-stake (DPoS) consensus. Notably, SXP has a deflationary supply mechanism, with tokens being burned with each use until only 100 million remain.
