PLN (Polish Zloty)

The Polish złoty, abbreviated as PLN, is the official currency of Poland. It's divided into 100 grosz, and its symbol is zł. Originating as a gold coin in the 15th century, the current złoty was introduced in 1995 after a period of high inflation. Although Poland is not part of the eurozone, it's expected to adopt the euro in the future. The złoty's most popular exchange rate is with the euro.
