DXY (U.S. Dollar Index (DXY))

The DXY, also known as the U.S. Dollar Index, measures the value of the United States dollar relative to a basket of foreign currencies. This basket includes the Euro, Japanese Yen, British Pound, Canadian Dollar, Swedish Krona, and Swiss Franc. The index is used to gauge the international value of the U.S. dollar, helping traders and investors to assess its strength against a collective measure of global currencies. Changes in the DXY are indicative of the underlying shifts in international currency markets and the broader economic outlook.
